Whenever I start a game dev project, the first thing I do is keep a simple roadmap handy to track the progress. Of-course this roadmap will keep changin through out the development process, but having this simple template prepared from the start helps me keep my vision clear and stay motivated throughout the process. Following a consistent workflow also saves a significant amount of time, as now a lot of my tasls would already be streamlined and organized.
